Nothing new, just thought i should update my journal. hehe

I've been in a slump creatively for some time now, so it was bit of a surprise when yesterday morning I found the energy and enuthusiasm to paint. hehe. I also felt the zone again hehe. It was one of those special powerful zones, that as you paint you feel the music and your body sways to the tempo and every stroke that you place on the age feels like magic. It felt so freeing, so blissfull. So i'm excited. hehe. Now onto round two. I've started a space scape, in witch I'm practicing textures and such. Hope  to have it done soon.

Well I haven't updated my journal lately so I think its time to add something even if its nothing substantial. I've come to a point in my vector artwork where I think i've hit a limit. It just doesn't contain the life and humanity of a raster drawing does in photoshop or painter. I haven't done much work in either other than photo manipulation for work. So this summer I've decided to venture into the world of Raster. I've tried to draw in photoshop, but the response time in my computer is to laggy. When i draw a stroke it takes a few seconds to catch up. So i've moved to painter to draw. Its response time is much faster than photoshop. So I plan on putting up some drawings in the next couple of weeks of my attempts at this new world. wish me luck. later

January is always a strange month to me. Its kinda like when you turn the keys in your ignition and it only purrs like its trying to start. Thats what January feels like to me, because nothing really seems to be starting, everything just is waiting to start. You've got tv shows that slowly flutter in towards the end of the month, no movies ever come out this early-unless their bad of course-, stores are weary of brining out their new things, and its still damn cold hehe. Well heres an update of whats going on so far. I have a couple of pictures that i'm trying to finish, or course when I get home from work it always seems like I'm either A. Ready to fall over and sleep, or B. just want to watch TV or not stare at a computer screen ever again. I have applied to an art school, so we'll have to see where that goes. I"m excited about it so we'll just have to see. I'm starting to finally get to know people in the area, which is great. I've made some new friends and work seems to be going smoothly. Other than that my resolution for the week is to try and get another piece up by sunday. Later
